Happy last day of November! A light covering of snow helping us say good-bye to November. December 1 tomorrow - so hard to believe. As we celebrated the first Sunday of Advent at church we were reminded that Jesus is the Light and we await His return as the Light of the World. That goes along great with our memory verse this week commanding us to be the light in the darkness - we are to be God's light in this dark world until his return.

Reading - In the Year of the Boar and Jackie Robinson ch. 8 (August) due 12/6. We read pages 234-240 today and Comprehension Check on p. 241 due 12/1

Math - Lesson 50 due 12/1 and test 12/2

Writing - In the Year of the Boar and Jackie Robinson ch. 8 (August) Vocabulary and questions due 12/6 - students need to know the definitions of vocabulary so we can complete the vocabulary section in class tomorrow

Spelling - p. 39-40 due 12/1 and test 12/2

Social Studies - States and Capitals quiz (1-25) quiz 12/7 and Capitals Map due 12/2

Bible -Matthew 5:13-16 due 12/7
