What an awesome day we in 5th and 6th grade! The students worked so hard on this beautiful autumn day!! I have been so blessed so far this year with such nice weather on my recess day - I'm counting my blessings and naming them one by one! Speaking of counting our blessings - don't forget to have your student bring in their items for the thanksgiving basket, as well as $4 to cover the cost of the turkeys. I'm really excited about this opportunity we have as a class to help others who are in need - sharing our blessings with them!

The highlight of my day were the American Dream posters. Each student "presented" their poster to the class - explaining/describing what they did for their posters. There were so many creative and well-done posters. Thank you for a job well done, students!

Reading - presented our American Dream posters in class. We read pages 208-215 in class today. Vocabulary p. 82 due 11/16. In the Year of the Boar and Jackie Robinson ch. 7 due 11/22

Math - Lesson 43 due 11/16 -no quiz this week

Writing - In the Year of the Boar and Jackie Robinson ch. 7 questions and vocabulary due 11/22

Spelling - p. 34 and pages 35-36 due 11/16 and test 11/17 - Thursday this week!

Science - read and took notes on pages 20-21 - crossword and word search due 11/16

Bible - Matthew 5:13-14 due 11/16
