We have had another good week in 5th and 6th grade! We are learning our routine and how things are done. A reminder that on Tuesday, 9/27 our "grace period" is over in that when homework is not turned in it will be a homework card. We have been working the past two weeks on this and making sure we understand everything - now the rubber meets the road! :)

Make sure and take the time to read this week's newsletter. We have 2 field trips coming up in the coming weeks and will need chaperones and drivers for both of them.

Reading - In the Year of the Boar and Jackie Robinson - chapter 1, vocabulary, and questions are due 9/27

Grammar - 4 Kinds of Sentences - page 5 & 6 due 9/26

Spelling - took our spelling test today

Math - 5th grade - p. 350 lesson 10 - complete all problems - copy 1-5 due 9/26

6th grade - p. 358 lesson 11 - complete all problems copy 1-4 & 9-20 due 9/26

• Took Test # 1 today

Science - read and took notes over pages 8-13

Bible - memory verse - Philippians 4:6-8 - 9/28
